It surely is the land of dreams,
Memories are filled with joy
With happiness for every boy.
Isisbridge club has replied to StudleyWith lots of lovely things to do:
Sailing boats and flying kites,
Or simply enjoying nature's delights.
Isisbridge club has replied to StudleyWith some of Cook's pie and a large fruit cake.
And Timmy will warn them with a low growl
If those cowardly crooks are out on the prowl.
The boys are taking an afternoon nap,
When clever old Anne finds a secret map.
All they need now is a rowing boat,
To follow the clues on the ransom note.
But strange things happen in the night,
And Timmy, the dog, has an awful fright,
As he chases after a concrete cow
And bangs his head with a loud mee-ow.
"Blinking cats!" cries the dimwit robber,
"One of em's made orf wiv me clobber!
I'll shoot that varmint when I catch im,
An give those kids a damn good thrashin!"
George keeps hold of Timmy's collar.
Though she's feeling fit to holler.
Whatever's the matter with her pet?
She needs to take him to the vet.
Just then another cow comes past,
And the scoundrel gives it a mighty blast.
In the dark he thinks it's just a big cat,
But the bullet rebounds and knocks him flat.
"Serves him right, the awful rotter!"
Says Julian, watching the villain totter.
"Let's have some pie and ginger beer.
We need it now the hols are here."
"Good old Tim!" says George with pride,
As the dog purrs happily at her side.
"Let's finish off that cake," says Dick,
"It's a jolly long walk from here to the nick."
The police are really quite impessed
And send a team to make an arrest,
"He won't get far!" the officers jest,
"With a concrete cow across his chest!"
Dear old Timmy is soon on the mend,
With the wag returning to his rear end.
A slight concussion is all that is wrong,
And his bark will come back fierce and strong.
