Steinheim - Kirchturm St. Johann Baptist (ehemaliger Wehrturm)
Nachdem der Mainzer Kurfürst und Erzbischof 1425 die Stadt Steinheim von den Eppsteinern kaufte, wird die Kirche 1449/50 erbaut. Dazu verbindet man die vorhandene Kapelle mit dem Wehrturm des Obertores. Dieser dient nun auch als Kirchturm.
