Pictures of family cats, stray cats, my current cat and that's that!
Portrait Of A Cat
A picture of my cat. He's always willing to pose for my camera(s). Taken for the Saturday Self-Challenge group, who's theme this week was "Animal Portraits."
Sleepy Head

My cat sleeping on the steps leading to the second floor. He likes hanging out with me - you can tell he gets totally relaxed. Taken on April 17th, 2015.
My Cat

I was out in my yard today shooting some new film I got recently and you might know who was with me every step of the way. Yes, my cat had to follow me everywhere I went. And in some cases, he proceeded to lay right where I was about to take a picture.

My cat, taken on April 3rd, 2018 with a little Kodak Easy Share C433 digital point and shoot camera.
Yawn
My cat seems to yawn every time I aim my camera at him. He's not a very good model, and gets bored easily, apparently.

Last Picture
This is the last picture I took of my cat. I haven't seen him in a month, so I guess he finally got killed in another cat fight. Cats around the neighborhood were always coming up to his space and fighting with him. Stupid neighbor cats.
This was taken on June 29th, 2020, and as you can see, he liked to sleep on his back. I guess I'm alone again.
Surprise Visitor

I had a surprise, unannounced visitor last night. I looked at the screen door and this face was looking in.

Stubby The Super Model
Stubby really liked me and loved having her picture taken. Late at night while I would work on my computer, she would sleep near me and feel safe. She'd look up every now and then just to make sure I was still there. When I'd be out photographing butterflies, she would follow me around like a dog. She was always curious about what I was doing and sometimes would chase the butterflies away that I was trying to shoot! I would scold her, but not too severely.

There are a lot of kitten and sunset pictures in Explore. I figure, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Cats In Boxes

A couple of my Mother's cats. For some reason, cats seem to like sitting in boxes.
