Minolta X-300

This is a powerful camera made by Minolta and can use all my great Minolta lenses.

Minolta X-300

18 Dec 2017 1 382
This is a nifty Minolta I picked up recently. It was only sold in Europe branded as the "X-300." Here in North America, it was sold with the name "X-370." And while Europe had both silver and black, and all-black bodied cameras known as the X-300, here in America, they didn't release an all-black X-370. Minolta did release an all-black bodied X-370 but it was known as the X-7A. Very confusing.

Summer Toyota Selica

05 May 2018 302
This is a little toy car that was made by Summer and was based on a race car made in 1978. There were only ever two of the cars made in real life and it's base was a Toyota Celica. The Homelife 200 film only said it was made in Japan, but the film cannisters looked remarkably like typical Konica film cannisters. So, that makes me think this film is rebranded Konica film instead of Fuji. Camera: Minolta X-300 Lens: Minolta MD Zoom 28-70mm, f/3.5, @70 1:4 macro Film: Homelife 200 (expired May 2008) Shooting Program: Manual Aperture: f/11 Shutter Speed: 1 sec. Petty 43

05 May 2018 281
This is a little toy car that came as a prize in a box of cereal. It's the size of a Hot Wheels car and looks supiciously like it's the same construction as the cars Hot Wheels sponsors for the toys in McDonald's Happy Meals. The Homelife 200 film only said it was made in Japan, but the film cannisters looked remarkably like typical Konica film cannisters. Camera: Minolta X-300 Lens: Minolta MD Zoom 28-70mm, f/3.5, @70 1:4 macro Film: Homelife 200 (expired May 2008) Shooting Program: Manual Aperture: f/11 Shutter Speed: 1 sec. Star Trek - "The Cage"

05 May 2018 1 299
A picture of the television screen showing a scene out of the first pilot for "Star Trek." I used to photograph the tv screen back in the 1970s during my favorite episodes of Star Trek, so every now and then, I still do it. Mushroom-Swiss Burger

18 Dec 2017 427
I took a pound of hamburger, divided it into three even pieces and made third-pound mushroom-swiss burgers for lunch one day. I had two for lunch and saved the third for lunch the next day. Yum! The Homelife 200 film only said it was made in Japan, but the film cannisters looked remarkably like typical Konica film cannisters. Shelling Pecans

08 Nov 2022 1 41
