The French Alps
I bought some old slides in a Kodak carousel slide tray off eBay and the slides were listed inside the box as "Vacation 1970 - Athens to Congo." This one was taken somewhere in the French Alps. As seen in a comment below and thanks to another member here on Ipernity, this place is called "Aiguille Du Midi," which means "Needle Of The Midday."
It's kind of sad that I was able to buy these images because they should have been passed down to relatives. I assume the people who shot these vacation slides are probably dead by now, seeing as how it was 50 years ago. I noticed that the guy seemed to have been a pretty good photographer and the Kodak Kodachrome slides have held up excellently! They were probably Kodachrome 25. I thought they were too good to never be seen by anybody again, so that's why I posted it.
