The Wakeford Place

The Wakeford Place
This year, 2021, my town is celebrating it's 150th birthday. It was founded in 1871, although it was settled quite before that. There was the first Methodist church that was founded in Illinois, and it started here in 1838. This house pictured, the Wakeford Place, is the oldest house still remaining in Norris City, built in 1877. Now, it is a museum.
