Who are you going to believe for the right date the photo was taken? Some inanimate computer program that states the image was taken on July 17th, 2019, which was actually the date the image was uploaded, or the photographer himself who says he took the photograph on July 4th, 2019 and provides all other kinds of accurate pertinent facts?

july 4 ofcourse. It can be confusing for someone who doesn't know that on july 16 there was a partial eclips :-) Most people do not read al the info you give...

I agree. Most people probably don't read it. I think the biggest problem is that everything seems to be geared toward digital photography these days. Let's just forget about the rich history of film photography and cater only to the people who use this most recent technology. Film doesn't have EXIF data and that, (along with the GPS coordinates) seem to be the only thing people are interested in knowing. As a film photographer, I feel kind of betrayed by it all sometimes.
