Tiny Gray Hairstreak

Tiny Gray Hairstreak
On the left, is a regular-sized Gray Hairstreak butterfly. In the middle is a pygmy version and that same one is on the tip of my finger for comparison in size - it's half as tall as a regular one! All three images are the same scale.

Nice series of this lovely little butterfly. It makes all the difference seeing it on a finger, proving just how tiny they really are, which may not be so apparent otherwise. I love the 'fringes' it has on it's wings.
