December 25th, 1965

Here's my sister Karla and me on December 25th, 1965. The picture was taken in the apartment we lived at for a short while when we moved to Safford, Arizona.

I'm holding what is most likely my second guitar, the first one was one of those wind-up kind that played "Pop Goes The Weasel." I guess, even at 4, I was always destined to be a musician - look how I'm even holding it properly!

lol Kenny, this is about as 60's as a photo gets.. the tree on the table, the furniture..and what looks to be an ashtray 'hidden' under the tree by the wall.
you and your sister have a lot of similarities.

OMG that's so cute of you two! I just love seeing others pics from back then. How wonderful that you got such an early start in music. (...and I wonder if your sister ever had any Liddle Kiddles or Tuttis?) lol

"Little Kiddles or Tuttis?" Neither of those names sound familiar, so I don't think she ever had any of those. She had a lot of bigger dolls and strollers. Plus, toy dishes and silverware like in the background on the table to the left of my head.
