Film
A contact of mine here on Ipernity posted a shot of his film collection, so I thought I'd do the same. This is most of my film, the stuff I keep in the icebox, and not counting a roll or two here and there in various camera bags that I didn't bother to dig out for the group shot. Check the notes on the picture for more details.

, Indycaver (Norm) have particularly liked this photo

I was wondering if anybody had a roll or two of Konica film or Agfa film they might sell or trade? I never got to shoot either one of those brands and it would be cool to be able to do so, even if the film is expired. Hopefully, it will be film that was kept in the fridge so as to last longer.

Nice collection :) digital age was the thing that allowed me to truly take photos

The digital age sure let me experiment more. I find shooting film periodically helps me to shoot better digital pictures.

Cool collection! You've definitely got more variety than me! :-) I may have some 110 and picture disk in the basement, but I don't keep it with the stuff I shoot!

Hey, Norm - thanks for those links! I jumped all over that Konica Minolta film! I didn't even know Konica Minolta released any film branded with their name once they merged. I know Konica made film, but don't think Minolta ever did. This will be nice as I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Minolta user.

Glad you found something you could use. I don't normally buy old 35mm film. Most of what I have came with old camera kit's I purchased. I like shooting B/W Ilford film and I usually use the digital when I want something in color.

Some of the film in the picture above came with cameras I found here and there as well. I don't generally buy old 35mm film, either, but looking at my collection last night got me to thinking about some of the brands of film I never shot with, but wished I had.

I usually find something I like and stick with it. I lost film at processing centers and I made the move to do my own developing as a result. I do wish I'd gotten all my color negative film developed. It's a real pain now that no one is doing it anymore. I bought some chemicals to strip off the ECN-2 rem-jet backing, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Depending how it turns out will determine what I do with my remaining film.

Well, as of the day before yesterday, I can add eight more rolls to the pile. Norm above gave me a link to some Konica Minolta film on eBay, which I won! Yay! And then the same day, my Aunt gave me a camera she had found for $1 and it came with three barely expired rolls of Fuji Film 200. It really needs to turn Spring and stay Spring already, so I can get out and do some shooting!
