Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash No. 5
This is my Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash No. 5, which I customized by painting the front metal faceplate. I removed it, sanded it down to remove all the scratches, painted it a base coat of chrome silver and used a Red anodizing paint over it to give it that deep shine. After it was dry, I buffed it out to bring out the satiny gloss of the paint job.
I figured, since this is my Brownie Hawkeye Flash with the "flipped" lens, I might as well make it stand out from the other ones in my collection in some way. I know it sure stands out in public when I'm shooting it! Yay, Kodak!
