Thanks for your concern, I didn't find any damage to the car. These can happen a few times a year. They are bad when the hail is tennis ball size or larger.

Voordat ik op de foto had ingezoomt -dacht ik gezien het blad nog op de bomen..het madeliefjes waren die in bloei staan---dat is ook vaak dit effect --ja zelfs in oktober is dat mogelijk....maar goed,,ik zien nu dat het hagel is,,,en gelukkig niet golfbal groot

The leaves on the tree in the foreground are narrow, not wide. They look good in October as that month is the middle of our Spring. All the trees in the photo are evergreen, not deciduous. The hail was golf ball or a bit larger. Here we can have hail storms, or thunder storms anytime in the year. Some places get tennis ball and larger sized hail.
