That was my thought with this one. The first three were a record of where wires went before I disassembled it further in attempting to repair it. I couldn't fix it so it is in a box waiting for me to use its parts someday...

Ah...I have an old (and favorite) coffeemaker in that category. But, I want to actually fix it and I think I need heat-shrink tubing. Is that what the red stuff is connecting the green & yellow wire to...whatever...

No, it's the hard plastic cover on a connector. The connector is a female spade connector which is crimped (crushed in a particular way using a crimp tool ) onto the wire.

Post a photo of your coffee maker. I may see something you can do.
