A good idea perhaps, here we no longer have Telephone boxes, they were constantly being vandalised, TDC got tired of mending them and anyway most people carry mobile phones being their other reason.

In Tokyo all telephone boxes have fibre net connectors with a place to place you laptop. usage is free to all. This service also exists on most larger towns and cities. There are of course Hot Spots, some are provided by the Major Banks.

I expect they will largely disappear here too. Many full cabinets have been replaced by the style shown in this shot and many sites where there were multiple boxes now have only one.
