Oratory of SS. Trinity - Sagliano Micca, Biella
The Oratory of SS. Trinity was founded as a small building, whose apse was built in the eighteenth century the present building.
The first document that you remember is the pastoral visit in 1619, although the origins date back at least at the beginning of the sixteenth century, as can be inferred from the fresco of the altar; depicting the Annunciation and the SS. Trinity (the latter altered by renovations). Towards the middle of the eighteenth century it is built the current building, octagonal, with characteristic arcade, as appears from the 174 thousandth .. painted on the facade. The oratory has no bell, but the bell is placed on two pillars, protruding from the roof. Interesting is the front door of the eighteenth century with finely carved panels.
Inside a valuable stake you can still be seen carved on the altar by Carlo Gaspero Serpentiere in 1716 and laying in the middle three panels, reproducing in relief the Assumption of Our Lady, the Deposition from the Cross and the descent of the Holy Spirit, all of ornate inlay.
