Buoux altes Ortsschild
Buoux ist ein kleiner Weiler, etwas abgelegen im Luberon, in dem keine 100 Bewohner leben. Er wird aber gern als Ausgangspunkt für interessante Wanderungen und Kletterwege genutzt. Interessnt ist z.B. das auf einem Felssporn gelegene Fort Buoux. Übrigens, auch hier befindet sich noch ein altes Ortseingangsschild aus der Reihe Borne Michelin. Diese Tafeln waren in den 1930er Jahren in Frankreich weit verbreitet.

Schön, dass man diese Schilder ab und zu noch sieht ! Ähnlich wie mit den alten Briefkästen: haben schon ihren Charme bewahrt !

I used to stay near here as a teeneager in the summer, but not once heard of Buoux because it had yet to be discovered as a climbing mecca! I returned in the late 70s and all that had changed and it had became a renowned worldwide rockclimbing centre. I used to climb but these climbs were several notches above my level so I never got to climb here.
