Der mittelalterlichen Stadteil von Entrevaux liegt auf einem Felssporn auf dem linken Var-Ufer. Über die Pont-Levis gelangt man in die alten Gassen des Ortes, der im 10. Jhd. auf diese Flußseite verlegt wurde. Hoch über der Stadt thront die Zitadelle, die 1690 durch Vauban errichtet wurde.
