Fantastic detail, bw works very well!
Respect for choosing bass trombone, in most orchestras the big brass instruments are still the domain of men...(and many were known for heavy drinking, they called it "Ansatzwasser";-)

I have played a few gigs where a bottle was passed around. They were mostly outdoor summer concerts. And I did play an Italian neighborhood feast parade where the band was invited into many homes for a drink. I've also done some Catholic Easter church brass ensembles, where some of the ensemble liberally tasted the wine.
