View from a helicopter. Ayers Rock - Uluru - Australia is a rock formation that rises approximately 1,142 feet above the surface and has a circumference of 5.8 miles. It extends approximately 1.5 miles into the ground. It is sacred land to the Aṉangu aboriginal people.
