James. While many suggest the Apple for photography and graphic reasons I kind of prefer Windows based systems.

Many years ago I had the I-Mac and often had difficulty with window based systems.

And was glad to switch to windows when I purchased a dell pc.

My partner who lives in FL owns an Apple. When I visit him in floria in the past used his computer and, as a result, have had difficulty viewing images and videos that I had transferred from my camera to an external hard drive that I used with is imac.

And when I took the portable hard drive to several photo processing places to transfer the data to a cd they eitehr did not transfer apple based data or were not sure if once they transferred it i could read it on my windows pc.

I, too have an HP Laptop which I like but more often than not use the dell desktop pc.
