Ben Stack: view north-east to Arkle from Leathad na Stioma
A windy, blusterous day on Ben Stack (2)
On the initial toil up the south-east ridge of Leathad na Stioma I was concentrating more on route-finding and watching where I was putting my feet rather than taking photos. But reaching the relative level ground of the bealach by Coire nam Mang allowed some respite. Here there was time to admire the north-east view to Arkle with its head in the clouds. The south-easterly dip of the grey quartzites of the Cambrian Ardvreck Group is well seen.
