Fallen boulder bounce trail from An Leac cliffs
A walk to the abandoned settlement of Hallaig on the island of Raasay
The path to Hallaig passes by the An Leac cliffs, comprised of the Beinn na' Leac Sandstone (Middle Jurassic). These cliffs are the haunt of ravens and golden eagles.
In the foreground a small boulder has recently fallen from the cliffs, leaving a 'bounce trail' in the grassy slope marking its route of decent.
