Track to Screapadal

Track to Screapadal
Like Hallaig, Screapadal is another settlement abandoned and in ruins as a result of the Clearances. The houses and field systems lie on the green sward in the middle distance under the shadow of the impressive cliffs of Creag na Bruaich (comprised of Middle Jurassic age Druim An Fhurain Sandstone)

The twin settlements of North and South Screapadal are separated by the Screapadal Burn which is marked by the thin line of vegetation descending over the grassy valley.
