The sign says: Primer Monte, the first cutting of the tree. There will be more than one tree in this Carnival.The older people still wear the traditional dresses and hats.The Hualhinos (People from Hualhas) that have moved to Lima, come back to their village for the Carnival time and follow all the traditions, parties (fiestas) .
