We had great weather last spring--too bad I got sick.
In case you'd wondered: when Vancouver named the Hood "Canal" in the 1790s, evidently "canal" did not yet necessarily mean an artificial channel. It's a natural fjord!
slgwv club has replied to Don Barrett (aka DBs… clubBtw, Vancouver named several other "canals" along the Inside Passage up to Alaska, where the names have stuck.
