Driving on north Indian Canyon, north of Palm Springs, I saw what looked to be very big rags hanging from the high wires -- until I got close enough to realize it was workers in some sort of pulley cart working on the power grid wires. More detail in adjacent picture.

More like the circus clown act, they were going back and forth with what looked (from the ground) more like playing with a new ride.
