With the ongoing drought in California, it's nice to wake up to some snow in the mountains even if it isn't enough to have an impact on the drought.

The public discussion seems to signal that Californians are finally beginning to understand that cycles of drought are historically common and hopefully we'll learn to live with it. But, all those citrus trees (the tops of the trees in the bottom of the picture) have got to go since they are too reliant on water.
