APLA Concrete Hero (4402)

At APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) Concrete Hero competition/fundraiser. After the tires (previous photo), the race continued for about a mile up to the I-5 and through additional obstacles, and then back to this set of obstacles. Not visible in this photo but in later photos, the contestants had to run over (on their hoods) several abandoned cars, climb across a school bus, and then race through a school bus and out its back window. From a spectators standpoint, one of the most interesting set of obstacles.
