Caliente, CA 3121a

The very small community of Caliente, west of Tehachapi. Though this barely captures it, if you look very close you can see railroad tracks on both sides of the picture. The tracks make a U around Caliente (see map). Caliente is also towards the southern end of the Caliente-Bodfish road, an interesting exploration through a remote ranching and former mining area. This picture is looking east, the road goes up the valley that is in the center of the picture, heading north overall to Lake Isabella.
