I've been to Hoover Dam twice, in 1999 and 2007. The first time I went, the water was up very near the high water mark. In 2007, I'd say it was lower than this by about a third. I know a couple of years ago, Las Vegas was worried about it falling below their water intakes. It looks like it's recovered a little.

Edit: I just noticed the date you took this. It hasn't recovered ... it went the other way.
