Manhattan, Nevada. Largely abandoned former mining town.

Nye & Ormsby County Bank, built in 1906. Per the sign in the adjacent picture, it was only open a year due to a economic depression in 1907.

And that 1907 depression was triggered by the SF earthquake. Not much money left for speculative investments! Same thing happened in Rhyolite.
