News: One-picture stories

Used to be, a safecracker was called a "yegg." A good word, worth bringing back. The police weren't talking but the safe came from an apartment on the small Ohio town's main street.

The 25 or so perpetually enraged and outraged young people from campus gather with signs and banners and this week's gripe. In the background, the flag is at half mast in respect for the Paris victims.

This gent. Timothy Windle, is in court on charges of robbery and aggravated assault, which offenses are apparently alleged to have taken place in prison, where he was and is serving a 26-year term. He did not like being photographed. I took the picture while there to cover the arraignment of a young woman charged with setting fire to a house containing a former friend and her two children. Not all butterflies and pastoral scenes here.
