Going for the goodies
Proud of the country
Marching bands, of course
Shade was popular
The Honor Guard passes the courthouse
Relief on offer
It was a very bright, very hazy day

A sad metaphor
Tree mostly bare. Doors that can be neither entered nor safely exited. Abandoned remains of a once-proud structure. Reminds me of the America we've decided to build for ourselves.
