Sunday 21 June 2015 (1533) – An unexpected sighting on the way to Chester was BED 729C, an East Lancs bodied Leyland PD2/40S, waiting for a wedding party outside St John the Baptist Church in Hartford, near Northwich. It was new to Warrington Corporation (as number 48) in April 1965.

BED 729C is an East Lancs bodied Leyland PD2/40S double decker new to Warrington Corporation (as number 48) in April 1965, which was waiting for a wedding party outside St John the Baptist Church. It was seen with a more recent bus in the form of LJI 8023, an Optare Solo operated by GHA Coaches. The Solo was working service 82 from Chester to Northwich.
