Friday 29 August 2014 - Mulleys Motorways purchased X179 CHJ from Beeston's Coaches of Hadleigh during August 2014. An Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL new as Dublin Bus AV14 (00D 40014) in September 2000.

Friday 5 September 2014 (0656) - Mulleys Motorways vehicles parked at Ixworth - Left to right H604 LNA, J167 UNH, X179 CHJ and F92 KEC. (H604 LNA and J167 UNH are Alexander bodied Leyland Olympians new to Hong Kong Citybus in 1991 as their numbers 112 (EF 3592) and 176 (EW 9231) respectively). Friday 14 November 2014 (1456) - Mulleys Motorways X179 CHJ was new as Dublin Bus AV14 (00D 40014) in September 2000. There are a number of interior signs which remain from its days in Ireland. The lower sign tells of the bus being fitted with a door brake. For those familiar with the vocabulary and expletives used by 'the Queen of Dublin town' (Mrs Brown that is) the feature is a feckin' nuisance! Before the bus can move off the door has to close and the footbrake pressed before the handbrake is released. How the Dublin city bus drivers kept to schedule goodness only knows. The sister vehicle (former AV107) acquired by Mulleys at the same time thankfully does have the 'refinement'.
