Sunday 15 May 2022 (1112) – The Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. Buses of A2B Travel Group Right: SK68 LZP, an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 MMC new in December 2018, previously with National Express West Midlands (767) Left: LX03 BXY is a Transbus ALX400 bodied Trident new in May 2003 to Stagecoach East London (17825). In 2000 bus bodybuilder Alexander and chassis builder Dennis came under common ownership and its products were sold under the Transbus name. In 2004 Transbus entered administration and the rescued business became Alexander Dennis (ADL).

A2B Travel Group LX03 BXY is a Transbus ALX400 bodied Trident new in May 2003 to Stagecoach East London (17825). Wednesday 24 October 2018 (1222) – A2B Bus and Coach Company Limited KX57 FMF seen leaving Sawston when working service 7A. This service operates from Trumpington Park and Ride site via Great Shelford, Sawston, Hinxton, Whittlesford, Duxford Airfield and Heathfield returning to Trumpington. It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Stansted Transit of Stansted Airport in July 2007.

Wednesday 24 October 2018 (1222) – London Road/Brewery Road, Sawston/Pampisford. For many years this point was defined as Sawston (White Horse) in bus timetables. The pub was the building beyond the parked double decker. Stagecoach East (Cambus) 19582 (AE10 BWP), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Trident new in April 2010. It was taking a break having arrived at 1219 as the 1135 service 7 from Cambridge city centre that would return at 1234. Passing by is A2B Bus and Coach Company Limited KX57 FMF, an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Stansted Transit of Stansted Airport in July 2007. It was working the 1200 service 7A which operates from the Trumpington Park and Ride site via Great Shelford, Sawston, Hinxton, Whittlesford, Duxford Airfield and Heathfield returning to Trumpington.

Tuesday 9 April 2019 (1319) – A fairly new addition to the A2B Bus and Coach Company fleet seen in High Street, Newmarket. It was working the 1315 Tuesdays and Fridays only service 18 to Newmarket Road Park & Ride site on the eastern side of Cambridge travelling via the Wilbrahams, Fulbourn and Teversham. YJ62 FCC is an Optare Solo that had been new to Courtney Buses, Bracknell in November 2012.

Wednesday 6 November 2019 (1154) – A2B Travel Group YX11 AEA, an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Abellio London in March 2011 as their 8552. It was seen at Addenbrooke’s Hospital bus station about to work the 1155 service 31 to Fowlmere. This bus was entered in the Showbus Rally on 29 September 2019.

Wednesday 6 November 2019 (1155) – A2B Travel Group YX11 AEA, an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Abellio London in March 2011 as their 8552. It was seen leaving Addenbrooke’s Hospital bus station on the 1155 service 31 to Fowlmere. This bus was entered in the Showbus Rally on 29 September 2019.

It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Abellio London in March 2011 as their 8553. Originally a two door vehicle for operation on Transport for London contracted services.

Wednesday 6 November 2019 (1032) – Trumpington Park and Ride site, Cambridge. A2B Travel Group YX11 AEB is leaving on service 7A. It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Abellio London in March 2011 as their 8553. Originally a two door vehicle for operation on Transport for London contracted services. On the right is Stagecoach East (Cambus) 10792 (SN66 VZP) which, like 10793 behind, wears the blue Park and Ride livery for the service to Cambridge city centre. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400D MMC that was new in December 2016 although before its assignment to Cambridge it was one of a number of buses temporarily assigned to Stagecoach Merseyside (Glenvale) to provide increased capacity during railway engineering works on the Merseyrail Wirral line.

Sunday 29 Sept 2019 – Showbus, Hertfordshire County Showground Left: A2B Travel Group YX11 AEA, an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Abellio London in March 2011 as their 8552. Right: Preserved RNA 236J, a Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetline that was new to the South East Lancashire North East Cheshire Passenger Transport Executive (SELNEC PTE) in June 1971 as their 2236, It is preserved with Greater Msanchester PTE fleetnames, the successor of SELNEC. The body style is the classic and famous ‘Mancunian’ designed by Manchester City Transport in pre SELNEC days.

Tuesday 30 November 2021 (1154) - Star Travel of Haverhill KX59 CXR seen in Newmarket bus station having worked the rural circular service 902 serving villages to the south of the town. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 that had been new to Renown Coaches of Bexhill-on-Sea in October 2009. Both the vehicle and the service were previously licenced to the Big Green Bus Company, a company under the same ownership of Star Cabs which also uses the Star Travel name. The Big Green Bus Company licences were transferred to Star circa November 2020. In the background is A2B Bus and Coach Fiat midi-bus YX61 BHE which was new in late 2011/early 2012 to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Tuesday 30 November 2021 (1155) – A2B Bus and Coach work various services into Newmarket from rural villages. In this case Tuesday is market day in Newmarket. Fiat midi-bus YX61 BHE is seen in the bus station. It was new in late 2011/early 2012 to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Tuesday 27 September 2022 (1205) – A2B Travel Group GX57 AUT seen in the Guineas bus station, Newmarket. It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that was new to Impact, Perivale in October 2007. In 2016 I photographed this bus when it was operated by Whippet Coaches.
