Sunday 29 Sept 2019 – Showbus, Hertfordshire County Showground Fowlers Coaches of Holbeach Drove YX17 OGT, a Plaxton Leopard bodied Volvo B8R new in March 2017 In the background is LGV 994, a Duple Vega bodied Bedford SB3 preserved in the livery of Premier Coaches (Watford) Limited. It had been new to Burton Coaches of Haverhill in March 1958

H&C was based in South Petherton, Somerset and services ran from there to Crewkerne, Yeovil, Taunton and Ilminster. The business closed in 1979. Right: HEK 962, a Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied AEC Reliance. Chassis new to Smiths Tours of Wigan in July 1961. Rebodied in June 1974.

Sunday 29 Sept 2019 – Showbus, Hertfordshire County Showground R178 VPU, an Alexander RL bodied Volvo Olympian new to Stagecoach East London (VA78) in September 1997. It was later cascaded to Stagecoach Midlands with corporate fleet number 16078, It wears the red and white livery of the Noah Vale operation of Weavaway Travel (where it operated with registration C17 TCL). The ‘NV’ logo remains and appears to be an adaptation of the National Bus Company ‘double N’ logo – as does the red and white livery. (Noah Vale sounds like ‘no avail’)
