Thursday 13 September 2018 (1117) – CT4N is the operating arm of Nottingham Community Transport and holds the contract with Nottingham City Council for the operation of the Centrelink service. The service links Victoria Bus Station with the Queens Drive Park and Ride Site travelling through the city centre. The service offers free travel to passengers within the city centre itself. Electric powered vehicles are used on the service like 977 (LJ16 NMK), a Chinese built BYD model K9UR new in August 2016, is seen in Mount Street bound for Victoria Bus Station.

Thursday 13 September 2018 (1112) – Marshalls of Sutton-on-Trent OP117 (YJ67 GBE), an Optare Versa new in December 2017, seen turning from Mount Street to Maid Marian Way in Nottingham bound Newark on service 90. This service is named the ‘Fosseway Flyer’ and operates hourly with the journey taking 48 minutes. Fosse Way is the name given to the Roman road which runs diagonally across England from Exeter to Lincoln, a distance of about 230 miles (370 km) of which 180 miles (290 km) is an almost a straight line. For the first few decades following the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43 the alignment marked the western frontier of Roman rule. The distance covered by service 90 along Fosse Way (A46 and the adjacent parallels) is only about 12 miles (19 km) though.

Thursday 13 September 2018 (1038) – NET (Nottingham Express Transit) tram 207 descending Market Street in Nottingham City Centre. Looks like either 202 or 212 is heading for the climb. These trams are from the initial batch of 15 Bombardier Incentro AT6/5 models built in Derby in 2002-2003 for the launch of the NET system. During 2013-2014 they were all refurbished, given new interiors and a new livery.

Three buses in Victoria bus station, Nottingham provide a real splash of colour. Left to right: ‘Pronto’ liveried 611 (FJ03 VVZ), a Wright Solar bodied Scania L94UB new in April 2003, was arriving from Mansfield; ‘Rainbow One’ liveried 847 (YJ14 BRV), an Optare Versa new in July 2014, bound for Heanor; and ‘the two’ liveried 776 (BD65 EWH), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B8RLE new in October 2015, working the 1055 service to Ilkeston and Cotmanhay.

It is branded for the Orange Line group of services with a rear end advertisement for the phone app. Passing by is 647 (YN15 EJK), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in March 2015, which was bound for Loughborough. It wears the South Notts branding. Nottingham City Transport acquired the South Notts Bus Company of Gotham in 1991 and still uses the South Notts branding for the services.
