Saturday 28 July 2018 (1347) – A view from the ramparts of the castle at Corfe Castle, Dorset of an Excelsior coach. Excelsior is a Go South Coast subsidiary. Looks like a Volvo 9700 body. A fleet list I have seen shows that two are operated numbered 5 (HF18 CKJ) and 6 (HF18 CKK) on B11R chassis which were new in April 2018. The castle keep was built in the early 12th century for King Henry I, William the Conqueror’s son. Standing 21m tall and on top of a 55m high hill the tower of Purbeck limestone can be seen from miles around.

Thursday 2 August 2018 (1513) – Go South Coast 7823 (BV66 WNX), a Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B11RT new in September 2016, seen arriving at The Hard Interchange in Portsmouth when working National Express service 206 from Gatwick Airport to Poole.

Thursday 2 August 2018 (1541) – Go South Coast 7828 (BV66 WOC), a Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B11RT new in September 2016, seen passing the Historic Naval Dockyard in Portsmouth just after leaving The Hard Interchange. It was working the 1300 National Express service 206 from Poole to Gatwick Airport. The entrance on the left is that to the 'Mary Rose' exhibition. The 'Mary Rose' was Henry VIII's frontline warship which sank in the Solent in July 1545. Raised in 1982 she is the centrepiece of an incredible display of hundreds of artefacts. A gentleman playing the part of the King is just visible on the edge of the photograph.

Monday 30 July 2018 (1453) – Go South Coast (Damory) 7099 (TIL 6719) seen on Bath Road, Bournemouth. It is a Transbus built Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12M that was new to Cheltenham & District (53014) in July 2003 registered VU03 VVY.

Friday 3 August 2018 (1054) – Reversing out after taking a break at Chieveley Services in Berkshire is Go South Coast (Excelsior) 7841 (A18 XEL), a Jonckheere JHV bodied Volvo B11R new in September 2015 registered BF65 WKL.

Friday 27 July 2018 (1733) – Go South Coast operates about 18 Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B11RT coaches on National Express contracts. 7829 (BV66 WOD) is seen in Seamoor Road, Westbourne heading for Poole on service 205 from Heathrow Airport. I presume this was the 1345 service from Heathrow which should be here at 1636 on Fridays. The next service wasn’t due here until 1841 (the 1530 departure from LHR).
