Go-Ahead: Metrobus

Friday 6 July 2018 (0747) – Go-Ahead owned Metrobus 6763 (YX63 ZWW), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 new in December 2013, seen in Tunbridge Wells. The rather grand Classical style building on the right is a former Congregational Church and Lecture Hall built in the mid 1800s. In 1980 it was bought by Cotswold Outdoor for use as their local branch - a rather grand shop indeed!

Friday 6 July 2018 (0812) – Go-Ahead owned Metrobus 6980 (YP09 HWM) seen in Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells working the 0635 service 291 from Crawley. It is a Scania OmniCity N230UD double decker which had been new to Brighton & Hove Bus & Coach Company (also Go-Ahead owned) in July 2009. Friday 6 July 2018 (0815) – Go-Ahead owned Metrobus 6782 (YY15 GDE), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 new in March 2015, seen Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells. It carries branding for the East Grinstead to Brighton service 270 which is not appropriate to Tunbridge Wells. Note the novelty bicycle shaped frames to prop and lock normal bicycles on the right. They commemorate the 2007 Tour de France cycle race which passed through the town in July that year.

Sunday 25 September 2022 – Showbus 50 Rally, Hertfordshire County Showground Metrobus 6019 (BJ15 TWU), a Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B8RLE new in June 2015. Fitted with guide wheels for use of the ‘fastway’ branded guided busway service in the Crawley/Gatwick area.
