Saturday 12 July 2014 (1605) - Mulleys Motorways MUI 7949 (facing the camera) developed a fault when working the 1515 service 355 from Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds. M550 WTJ was brought out as a replacement and the pair are seen here by the turn from the A1101 to West Stow. M550 WTJ reached Bury St. Edmunds just five minutes late to work the 1615 service 355 to Mildenhall and Beck Row. Pretty good going with barely no disruption to service!

Thursday 25 March 2010 (0649) – A secondhand acquisition by Mulleys Motorways Limited seen soon after delivery at Ixworth.
M552 WTJ, a Wright Endurance bodied Volvo B10B new to Fareway on Merseyside in February 1995, was latterly owned by Arriva as a result of various takeovers. All Arriva lettering had been removed and the livery debased with a spray of matt black paint from an aerosol.
The bus was prepared for service and received Mulleys orange livery before taking to the road.
I often drove this one-off bus which had its own individual characteristics and idiosyncrasies.

Wednesday 27 March 2013 (1243) – Looking rather forlorn. Two of the three East Lancs bodied Scanias operated by Mulleys Motorways (P642 ENN and P641 ENN) which had been new to Nottingham City Transport. They were very lively beasts providing quick acceleration particularly when attempting to get onto the very busy Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills. I loved them! The only downside was that they were governed to a top speed of 50 mph - sometimes a set back when cruising along the A11.
