Neal's Travel

Tuesday 27 December 1994 – The premises of Neal’s Travel in Isleham feature a large open parking area together with a well-appointed workshop and office building. The site was opened after the family outgrew their original property in the nearby village of Chippenham. Inside the workshops are Marshall SPV bodied Mercedes-Benz mini-bus M373 VER which is flanked by two Caetano Optimo bodied Toyota Coaster mini-coaches (H314 HRY (left) and H391 CFT (right). Parked outside on the right is K832 FEE, an Autobus Classique bodied Mercedes-Benz O 814D new in January 1993.

I did wonder though if there had been an official photoshoot sometime before. Wednesday 20 June 2012 (1542) - Neal’s Travel of Isleham, Cambridgeshire BX54 EEV Mercedes-Benz Touro seen at Riverside Middle School in Mildenhall awaiting homeward bound pupils. The coach was new to Neal’s in September 2004. (Steve MacKenzie of West Row) J219 NNC stood behind)

Wednesday 1 February 2012 (1545) - Due to a hold up I was almost the last in the line of vehicles to collect pupils at Riverside Middle School in Mildenhall - normally I was second in line behind Dave Moore’s coach. (Only the Newmarket service operated by Stephensons, which was normally the last one to arrive, was yet to come in). Taken from my driving seat the coaches were Neals, Lewis’s and Neal’s. Out of shot around the curve are Steve Mackenzie, Lewis’s and Dave Moore. Neal's FJ53 LZU is a Jonckheere Mistral bodied Volvo B12M new to Skills of Nottingham in September 2003.

Thursday 4 November 2010 (0726) – Neal’s Travel of Chippenham (Cambridgeshire) FJ53 LZU seen in Lakenheath High Street (Suffolk) prior to working a school contract. It is a Jonckheere Mistral bodied Volvo B12M new to Skills of Nottingham in September 2003.

Saturday 1 August 2009 (1414) – On Newmarket Race Days Neal’s Travel work the shuttle service from the town centre to the racecourse. Eurocoach LX33 bodied Mercedes-Benz O 814D AE05 EFJ is seen in the High Street.
