Buses in St. Albans - 8 Sep 2023 (P1160253)

Friday 8 September 2023 (1030) – The Church of St. Peter stands in the background of this view in St. Peter’s Street, St. Albans.

The two Arriva the Shires buses are working in opposite directions of service 321 with (left) 3895 (KX11 OSG) working to Luton. It is a Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE new in August 2011. Heading to Maple Cross is 3653 (LK14 FTC), a Wright StreetLite DF new in July 2014. Both buses work out of Luton garage.

On the right is Sullivan Buses E59 (LK08 DXW) taking a break between trips on service 84 which runs to Potters Bar. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Trident that had been new to Metroline (TE884) in July 2008.

Standing behind is Red Eagle Buses Limited 33 (YY15 GDK) on which I had just travelled from Marshalswick as it worked the 1000 trip of St. Albans town service S6. It an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D new to Central Taxis, Felling in May 2015.
