County Bus and Coach SNB251 (NPK 251R) in Bishops Stortford – 4 May 1991 (141-19)

Saturday 4 May 1991 – In April 1988 the AJS Group acquired the privatised London Country North East. Quite soon after County Bus and Coach Company was created to operate from the garages at Grays, Hertford and Harlow.

Around the time of this photograph AJS sold CB&C to the Lynton Travel Group and the the company was re-launched into three identities using the names Thameside (at Grays garage); TownLink (at Harlow); and Lea Valley (Hoddesdon).

Leyland National SNB251 (NPK 251R) was seen taking the tight downward turn from North Street to Bridge Street in Bishops Stortford on service 500 to Romford.
