Badgerline (Roman City) 2509 (D509 HHW) and Premier Travel 330 (C330 PEW) in Cambridge – 13 Aug 1988 (70-16)

Saturday 13 August 1988 – Badgerline was a former National Bus Company subsidiary which was privatised in 1986 and went on to become a constituent of FirstBus in 1995. The company acquired Roman City of Bath, a travel agency business in early 1988.

Van Hool Alizée bodied Volvo B10M-61 2509 (D509 HHW), which was new in June 1987, is seen here arriving in Cambridge when duplicating the 0810 National Express service 747 from Lowestoft to Bristol.

Premier Travel Services 330 (C330 PEW), a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Leyland Tiger new in March 1986, was operating as the service coach (visible right).
