Sunday 25 September 2022 – Showbus 50 Rally, Hertfordshire County Showground

Two preserved coaches wearing different era National/National Express liveries.

Left: N472 KHU, a Plaxton Expressliner bodied Dennis Javelin new to Wessex of Bristol (202) in October 1995. It carries the Bristol-London ‘Express Shuttle’ branding. During the 1990s National Express introduced ‘no need to pre-book’ shuttles on services between key cities.

Right: PRO 441W, a Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Leopard new in August 1980 to Hearn’s Coaches of Harrow Weald, carries the familiar all white National Travel coach livery. Originally the fleetname was just National before the National Express name was introduced. Entered by Paul S. Winson Coaches of Loughborough.
