Bus Interchange, Stevenage - 25 Sep 2022 (P1130360)

Sunday 25 September 2022 (1037) – Arriva Herts and Essex 3562 (KX09 GYO) and 3551 (KX09 GYA) seen in the new Stevenage Bus Interchange. Two of a batch 20 Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro300s new in June/July 2009. These two new in June.

The Interchange opened on Sunday 26 June 2022 replacing the bus station at Town Square/Danestrete which is being redeveloped as a ‘multi-purpose event space’.

The Interchange, built on what had been the Leisure Centre long stay car park, comprises a covered building with ten bus loading bays waiting area. Interior facilities include a food outlet, toilet facilities and security offices.
