Much better than the superannuated old timers that pass as service busses down here, the many varied liveries indicate they are shipped in when other areas have finished with them.

I suspect you might be referring to the same big group company that also has operations in East Anglia Roger.

The policy is generally to put their brand new buses into the major conurbations and after quite some years of hard work they get cascaded to the 'country areas'. East Anglia has been receiving former Leeds/Bradford vehicles dating from 2006 in the past few months (Spring 2022).

It is hard to believe the bus in this photograph is ten years older than those!
