Lothian Region Transport 24 (GSC 664X) in Cambridge – 11 April 1998 (385-21A)

Lothian Region Transport 24 (GSC 664X) in Cambridge – 11 April 1998 (385-21A)
Easter Saturday 11 April 1998 – Lothian Region Transport operated a small number of sightseeing buses in Cambridge for a time in retaliation to Guide Friday which had commenced tours in Lothian’s home city of Edinburgh.

24 (GSC 664X), named Anglian Star, was an Alexander bodied Leyland Atlantean AN68C/1R which had been new as a covered top service bus (number 664) in 1981. It was seen in Emmanuel Street, Cambridge on a rather damp day.

I believe Dew’s of Somersham maintained the vehicles on behalf of LRT.
