Simonds WVE 284 (BV55 UCY) in Bury St. Edmunds - 24 Jun 2021 (P1080803)

Thursday 24 June 2021 (0847) – Simonds of Botesdale (R. O. Simonds) WVE 284 seen in Risbygate Street, Bury St. Edmunds. It was working the 0705 service 304 from Diss which serves St. Benedict’s School and West Suffolk College en route to the Bus Station (arrival 0847). The destination display has already been set to work back to Diss on the 0850 service 304.

An East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD which I believe was new to Blue Triangle, Rainham in December 2005 as their SO5 registered BV55 UCY. It was used by them on Transport for London contracted services.
